Funeral Director is Sentenced in Fraud Case

Faust's mugshot//Bucks County District Attorney’s Office A funeral director is sentenced to prison after ripping off people who prepaid for their funerals by stealing their money and using it elsewhere.  
David Wayne Faust, age 54, a Hulmeville Pa resident and business owner, pleaded guilty on June 5, 2018, for collecting 100,000 in Social Security Disability Benefits and stole almost 300,000 from over a dozen clients who prepaid for their funerals by forging death certificates despite some being alive, over a span of 17 years. It is believed that there were 54 victims in total ripped off by Faust. Read more.

The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission has a main goal of enforcing state laws that prohibit discrimination such as the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, which covers discrimination in employment, housing, commercial property, education and public accommodations; as well as the Pennsylvania Fair Educational Opportunities Act, which is specific to post secondary education, secondary vocational, and trade schools . Update in Bucks Hacking Scandal

Last November, two Bucks County women were arrested for hacking into the Bucks County Community College computer system to change theirs and other students’ grades. The two women arrested were Kelly Margaret Marryott, a 37-year-old from Yardley employed at a medical office and Aleisha Morosco, a 30-year-old part-time student at Bucks from New Hope. Marryott used her position at a doctor’s office to gain personal information about a professor at Bucks and was able to pass the information to Morosco.    Read more.
