Influence's and the Racism Behind Them: An Exposé

YouTube is home to many celebrities and influencers whose main purpose is to entertain their viewers and get their subscriber count up. To their subscribers, these people are perfect and can do no wrong, but sooner or later something comes out about these stars and, all of a sudden, their subscriber count plummets. Over the past couple of months, these influencers have be exposed for the racism they have expressed online in the past — either through tweets or old videos of them that have resurfaced.

  1. It's a shame how bigots have flourished on YouTube. The kind of bigotry you referenced in your article in The Playwickian is awful, and sadly, not at all uncommon. Unfortunately they don't limit their bigotry to their videos and their comments on Twitter. They also false-flag / falsely report minorities on social media platforms, and get their videos and accounts taken down or restricted. It has happened to me quite a lot. Apparently my being a lesbian-identified male who models and reviews ladies panties on my blog, my YouTube and my Twitter doesn't sit well with bigots.
    I am glad that some of the more prominent bigots have been exposed for what they are,
    but I'm afraid it will take a long time to overcome the endemic bigotry still brazenly advocated by the Trump administration and adhered to by his followers.
